I've known Gary for Iguess 20 years now. He used to be a top notch modeler, but has drifted away. We got to get him back on track.

Fergie; I've got 1400 ft. + down on my railroad. I have plans and partial grading done for another 1600 ft. My son wants to do a further 2000ft. Maybe when I retire.

The track that is in the picture is almost 1 mile.

I guess I am a little biased when it comes to the Santa Fe. I grew up in Cleburne, TX. Home of the ATSF shops for a 5 state area. Like the stupid kid I was, trains really didn't do much for me when I young. When I got into hig shcool, I tried to get a job athe shops but that was a time when you had to know somene, who knew someone, who knew someone! Got married an moved to Fort Worth and then they closed the shops in Cleburne in 1999! Oh well, like everyone else, I have 20 20 hind sight!

HI guys!

ATSF Railfan here! Real name is Gary! I am what you could call a closet Model railroader.

I was at Paul's house when he posted the pic. I am not familiar with the hosting site he is using. We enlarged the pic and tried to upoload it but he has a 28,8 KBS dialup connection and it is SLOW!

I have posted MANY pictures on many of the different boards I go to. I use Andale hosting and it is a little different.

Anyway, I think I will hang for a while and see what is up!

Tom; I tried a couple of things and wasen't able to enlarge it. I'm sure that it can be done. I just haven't figured that out yet. John is blowing down the boiler,that's what you see coming out of the left side. This was supposed to have been posted on Coffee Shop, but that is something else I goofed up. By the Way, the coal smoke does keep the mesquitos away.
