Under construction:
I'm building the Munnsville Depot kit from Branchline Trains. It's going to be Railway Express on my layout, so I've printed up decals for some signs and applied them to wood. The kit is going along well, but it will take a while to get the rest of the shingles on the roof.
I took a bike ride today, too, so here's an oldie...
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

Looks like you're off to a good start in this great multi-faceted hobby, a hobby that can bring pleasure for a lifetime. I wish I'd gotten as early a start as you.
I don't know that your smoke stack needs to be shorter, looks about right to my eye.
I appreciate all the fine folks like yourself who take the time to share their hobby experience and efforts on this weekly thread and the rest of the forum.

Hope you had a good ride today. Looks like your rider is doing some railfanning, or a little cyclocross practice. Are the sleeves of his jersey pink? Takes a real man to wear pink, like the GC race leader of the Giro d'Italia.

That caboose is looking great! Congrats on an impressive project!
And we even made it to page 2 for this week's WPF! Mom can be proud. Good to see steady hands, new folks, recent regulars, and just all kinds of interesting and delighful pictures and narrative.

Alex,The fun part is the most important part of the hobby..As long as you are having fun you will stay a life member.Its when this or any hobby is no longer fun modelers tend to stray.

I've captioned that picture "Floyd in trouble again." Of course, the jersey color makes him "pink Floyd."
