This is cool!  I wouldnt mind seeing a thread, a write up, on your project.   I'm assuming you scratch built this.  I've seen some pics of Avery ID and thought it looked like an interesting area.  Someday I'm going to visit and ride over the rails to trails st paul pass.  Hopefully while I still can ride!

Yep, Omni rail PNW 4 division. I may be a member upon getting my NMRA membership, primarily so I can run with the club. May not make their northern shows but the ones down here I could try. it just depend though.

Hmmmm, while I've done next to nothing on my current secretive layout in progress. I spent both today and yesterday at the trainshow in centralia, all day from 10 to close. ran trains with my buddy Mike's Omni rail group(I'm currently a trial member got 30 days to get my NMRA membership and start on a module). I had a blast and here are some photos

NYC Niagara #6008 as it crosses Route 32 at the West end of the BRVRR layout.

This past week, I installed a short bridge over a stream called Scotch Run. The real Scotch Run is a few miles from Horeshoe Curve. It's nearly impossible to tell what type of bridge is used from Google Maps. I ha a pair of Monroe Models single track stone arch bridges lying around. I used half of the kit to make the front of the bridge. I stuck the bridge kite piece to the side of the foam riser. The arch section under the trak wa made with a PVC pipe coupling that I cut in half and sprayed flat black. I used plastuct styrene shapes painted Floquil Rail Bron to make the steel reinforcements the PRR added toits stone bridges after WWII.

 

Looking good! Plan to get some BLI M1s and Centipedes to run on the Curve?

i got lucky about 2 weeks ago. i went in to my local train store just for the monthly mag. and i thought i would checkout the atlas turnout section. and of course all empty. i looked down and there was a bag marked 12.00$ so i checked it out and there where 12 turnouts of various brands peco, atlas and some lifelike. so i went to the counter and asked the guy whats up with them. he told ma a layout was torn down and yes they are 12 dollars for them all. so i snatched them up. so now ive been able to use them all and get my center pennisula all designed up and now have all 9 industries in. so, onto the pics.

 

overall view, there will be a partion going down the middle one day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

had the ntsb out for this derailment was fun to route trains from both mains into the yard for an hour or so. may have to make derailments a snerio during an ops session

 

also have been laying out some terrain some with my cardboard webbing, masking tape, anf later some ground goop

I like the stone bridge, really nice.

So far this weekend, I only have painted some cars up.

From left to right-A certain car that every horror story fan knows (yes I need to do some touchup on the white), a police car painted up to resemble the Mayberry police car, two other random cars I repainted and gloss coated.

Up way late, so why not a start of WPFSmile

Been practicing weathering some with the Tamiya weathering kits, along with some other pastels, etc.

Been working at the ASARCO smelter adding lights, so decided it was time for the office, fence and sign.

Now that I've proven I haven't gone over completely to the dark side Wink, how about some night shotsBig Smile?

Durango station received two more lights for the platform, making it the center of attention in a dark room.

Finally, up in Rockwood, they turned on some more lights after wiring up the boardwalk.
