thanks for the comments guys, im gonna work on straightening out the track as much as I can a little later

Welcome Bliss

You're off to a good start and your mountain looks real good. My only concern is the track in the foreground. From the angle of the photo, it looks like there's an abrupt "bump and climb" as the track is starting up the incline. You may want to lessen this bump as it may cause you grief later. I say this as I have had many problems with bumps. Just as you think it isn't a problem a new loco will show you other wise. Not all engines ride the rails the same way some are more tempermental then others.

I look forward to seeing more photos in the near future.

Looks like you have put in a lot good work and will have a good operation. Did you use a combination of foam and plaster for the mountain or is the foam just a base to raise the track elevation. Tell us more of what you plan to have.

All the plaster work has yet to get the final coat of hydrocal to smooth it out or the rock moldings
