Has anyone tried to make an SD38-2 from an Athearn SD40-2 or a PressureAide car from an Athearn Center-Flow?

See: http://index.mrmag.com/tm.exe?opt=S&cmdtext=SD38-2&MAG=ANY

especially Athearn's SD40-2 - kitbasher's gold mine,Model Railroader, October 1985 page 108

Note, there are many SD40-2 being rebuilt to SD38-2 or SD38-3 standards, with much variation in the external appearance.
