I don't ride a Harley. Truth to tell, I've demo'd three different cruisers so far, and I can't stand the ergonomics, they just don't work for me. I ride a Honda ST1300, and have a Triumph sportbike that's out on rental right now.

But, I did tour the Harley factory in York last July. Way cool...

Yes, as a general rule, the subjects of benchwork, scenery techniques, wiring, painting rolling stock and locos, weathering, LHS and assorted others are not scale specific. Questions about installtions, modifications, performance, detail levels, etc, ARE scale specific.

Well, since the quakes in California have registered high enough on the RICHTER scale to knock me off my soapbox, I'll just pack up my trains and be done for now.

Oh, just one more thing: I asked if y'all would be surprised if I said I worked in HO scale, I didn't say that I DO model HO. Fact is, I'm an N scale guy... 'twas an illuminating display of the power of assumption though, eh? nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.

Well my foreground is BIG Scale at eye level unless i'm backed away from the table about 10 feet, then it's Small Scale, then the background is Small Scale, unless I'm up on the table, looking at it up close, then it's BIG Scale., then there's always the scales in the middle bath room and they always read BIG, and sometimes when my Hemroid is bothering me, it always feels like it's BIG SCALE[(-D][(-D][(-D][(-D]

I don't want the Board split up by scale. If I only read the posts for my scale, I would miss out on a lot of good information, but I do agree that the posters should state their scale when it is appropriate.

I may be one of the Knucklheads. But some posts are helpful to all scales. Some posts you can know it's not your scale by the Subject ie. A topic on 18' radius curves is dealing with HO or N. Another thing is to look at the person profile. A lot of us haave key info on what we model in there.

I think it's almost safe to say, that unless specificly stated to the contrary, the default scale here is HO. I however do not qualify, as I am in 3 rail O, but all of the regulars know that. Well, I see someone needs some "scale" anger management classes... As for my "scale" depends on which one I'm using. The one's at work can go up to about 25,000 #'s, depending on which one I'm on. But then again, I have no need for a "scale" as I am not not above 160 #, nor am I below 150 #. I do not have any steamers, so no boilers here.
