If you buy an Athearn container chassis it will come with both raised and lowered landing gears, you can put the unused one on another trailer.

Mine doesn't move.......it's at the station!!!

CSX-SEC RR

As I stated in  earlier post I'm trying to get back into the hobby so here is the 1st of many questions. I have several truck trailers that need repair can anyone help with finding part IE landing gear wheels and wheel parts. Don't have to be right on the money but close would be nice. Almost forgot walthers and a few of makes

Part of the plan is a truck stop next to a small inter model yard. Might have to be a add on sectional to the main  layout.

Can you post pictures of what items you're looking to repair?  Us taking shots in the dark to find repair parts for you will only cause more confusion than help.

Johnboy,

You raise an interesting point, I overlooked, the dimple's and holes. There are a few maker's of container chassis'  out there. I'll have to look them up and supply a link, for him, unless, someone beats me to it.

Edit: OP You will find the chassis,on page 2:

Whistling

Are you sure they are trailers that have lost their landing gear etc. or are they containers. The containers shouldn't have any dimpling or holes on the bottom to add that equipment.  In that case you need container chassis and I have a few of them made by Con-cor.   Although similar a container and a trailer are not the same.

Not very hard to "roll your own".

Google: semi trailer landing gear

Lots of pics.

I prefer the A-Line stuff over the T&S parts.  A-Line's parts are molded better.

If they are Athearns, they have a parts department that you can call.
