All "bumping" is would be to add another post to your original thread.  It then brings that post back to the top of the heap.

Regarding ScaleCoat prices, I see from their site that list is $5.99 for 2 ounces.  I just bought a 2 ounce jar from a vendor at a large, for this area, train show.  That jar cost me $5.25.  So I'm not sure how much you save by running all around looking to save a little.  I know I didn't save anything because it cost me $9 to get into the show.

Concerning Joe Donato, I also ordered some paint from him May 23rd.  I sent him a USPS money order.  It took a while, and a couple unanswered e-mails, but I finally did receive the paint.

I saw the listing for paint on either hoswap or hointerchange.  The name Bryler Junction was never mentioned in his listings on those yahoo groups, nor in any of the e-mails that did go back and forth.

One thing that I did notice was that when I received the package containing the paint, the return address was not Joe Donato, nor was it Bryler Junction, nor any thing else that would make one think that it came from a hobby shop.  I don't remember what it exactly read, but it was something like Mom and Dad's Junk or some such.  My reaction when the envelope arrived was "what is this stuff".

Also, as I mentioned, so far as I can determine he never cashed my money order.

Maybe you can send him a registered letter, return receipt requested, to see if he replies.  If you don't have it, the address I used to send my money order was:

I don't know what "bump" is so I can't explain why I didn't do it. I can't even get the posts to accept spaces. Everything prints out in one long sentence! I thought mentioning Bryler Junction might get me the answer I was looking for rather than saying another shop was closing. As to Joe Donato and Bryler Junction all I can figure out is he's shut down and running from something (besides me). I even tried his rabbit business with the same results. It's a shame he's apparently become a deadbeat now as he was good to deal with prior to July and had nice prices. An honorable business would have put out SOMETHING to let customers know what's going on with their orders and his business. My Scalecoat order and money is gone now which really sucks. It's hard finding a shop that carries Scalecoat. I hate to pay full retail at Walthers or direct from Weaver but I guess I'll have to now. Roger Huber Deer Creek Locomotive Works

Does anyone have any recent information on Joe Donato of Bryler Junction?

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you just bump your thread from 4 days ago rather than start a new one?

Joe Donato used to list a lot of items on either HOinterchange or HOSwap, both of them Yahoo groups.  He hasn't listed anything lately  Maybe if you sent an e-mail to the owners of those groups you'll get an answer.

Hi Roger, I've had a backorder for MTH HO passenger cars with Joe for the last year. The last email I had from him was July 2, 2013. Since then, nothing and now my emails to him are returned as undeliverable. I also sent messages to him via his website but again no reply. Do you have a telephone number for him? You can send it by private message if you prefer. Thanks.

Does anyone have any recent information on Joe Donato of Bryler Junction? I have a few orders pending and have been unable to get with them. They had a minor problem with flooding back in July but they don't seem to want to or be able to answer any inquiries either by email or telephone. Thanks, Roger Huber
