Now, if it's mail-order, it has to be online, or I don't buy.

I am little slow climbing this grade so share with me all those disadvantages in order processing with a real mail order person. I deal with Trainworld and the item must be in stock

My last three verbal orders, Trainworld, all properly executed and delivered three business days after execution.

Nope, wrong!! Updating their website would generate an enormous increase in sales, period. Online shopping has steadily increased since the beginning, and the dinosaurs that resist only limit themselves. I ordered things by phone 25 years ago. Now, if it's mail-order, it has to be online, or I don't buy.

Updating their site would cut way too deeply into their profits margins!

Modular railroading at its best!
If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!

Too bad...Trainworld would see a lot more of my hobby dollars if they had a conventional e-commerce site.

Judging by twemployee's posts, it ain't gonna happen. We'll just have to order from them they way we did back in the old days lol.

username is"twemployee".
Go to member search, T, type in twemployee, click search, click on twemployee in the member name box, left side and then click on "Contact infor" and the Trains E-Mail Message form should pop up and you should be able to e-mail him direct.

I forgot who it was, but he was an employee of Train World that was here in the forum a couple of weeks ago and he never got back to us about a new and improved website....So..Is Train World going to join the 21st century and have a better on-line ordering system or what?...Chuck[:D]
