Have You news fron ...... Hobby Circle?
Posted by ciortato on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 2:47 AM
Yes, my questions are:
Why, after an order supposedly sent to me on 18 of may, after 4 months, after hundred of my information mails to this dealer and few answers from it (last on 3 of august), after I've paid with my credit card (international shipping costs also), I haven't still received MY package and MY two models, or, at least, to have some explanations?
Why some dealers have no regards for their customers?

It seems that their yahoo-store is closed down, the link I used to access the site is dead.[xx(]
that promises nothing good, maybe you could contact your creditcard company and ask them yo look into it. as for contacting them by e-mail, I tried that in the past too, but the answers coming back - if any - 2 or 3 words, in a weird spelling - gave me the impression the person answering it had no clue about what I asked ( and it was in english )
good luck!

Just a bit of advice. If you want to deal with an internet retailer, e-mail them a question aboutsomething first. If you don't get a response within a reasonable amount of time, deal with someone else. If they can't respond over the internet, how do they expect to do good business over the internet? Don't trust them.

I have had absolutely horrible experience with HobbyCircle.
First they charged my credit card the minute I placed order. Then they
had to get things back-ordered so I waited two weeks. Then they sent it to me, or so I was told. After I called them and said I am worried I haven't received anything for 2 weeks the guy tells me "Oh, we actually just sent it yesterday"
And when I got my package - some items ordered weren't there and total dollars didn't add up. So I called the guy and he without any questions said he'll refund me, as if he knew what was going on.
That business is really the worst I've ever had to deal with with online.

Hey guy!

Unfortunately this store has had " A BOXCAR" load of complaints! There was a thread here regarding Hobby Circle back in the Spring/Summer 2004.

I became a little excited [:D]when I saw a new Atlas SCL HO locomotive on EBay last month and was going to bid on it . When a I saw that it was from HOBBY CIRCLE, a "Fire Alarm Bell" sounded off in my head. [B)][:0][:0][:0] I said to myself, " No Thanks!"[V]

When a business like this has a high amount of complaints within the past year or two, I tend to move on no matter how much I wanted the item they're offering.

Just not worth the hassle. [V][:(!] I hope they do get their act together!

Cheers and a very cautious "Amber Signal!"

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"
