let's see, if I remember correctly the lifelike shells had to be spread at the side to be removed, you may encounter difficulty there. But other than that it should fit.

SP&S modeler, 1960's give or take a decade or two for some equipment.

 Hey MRRDers,

I have 2 old Nscale Life- Like GP40 loco's that a friend gave me, one is a dummy unit, the cab and body is in great condition, the one thing that seems to be problem is the trucks, they are real dirty, there's little if no electrical pickup at all. ,Now I know I could use the paper towel and acohol method, But I'm not sure about the inside, the worm gear, motor, etc,  I would also like to install a decoder in the loco, and spray paint the loco's There is a flathead screw on the bottom of the chassie, and I had a bad time with one sometime ago after I took out the screw the hole thing just fell and that baby is still sitting in the scrap drawer! Anyway, I was just wondering before I Operate on these Loco's, would a split frame Atlas chassie  fit in the Life-Like's?? LOL, Laugh If not wish me luck.
