Which airbru***ype is best?
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, September 27, 2004 10:57 AM
I've never owned or even used an airbrush before, and I'm wondering what the best type is - single action, double action, etc. - for different applications. Basically a pros and cons point of view. I've thought about picking up a cheap Testors set just to experiment with before I make a $150-$200 investment. Any and all opinions are appreciated! [8D]

You might want to search the threads on this forum, as this has been discussed several times.

You'll get many responses as if you asked what car is the best, but Ill be happy to give you my opinion on the subject. I own two airbrushes and love them both. The first one by brand is a Paashe double action airbrush and the second is a Badger brand. Both are double action. If I had to choose one it would be my Paasche. Very easy to use, at around $85.00 I would say it is an above average brush. Check these sites, I have them in my favorites and have used them with great reliability:

I recomend Aztec airbrushes. They are simple to use and very relaible, and have a great selection of accesories for different needs and projects. Remember you'll also need an air compressor. I strongly recomend a testors one. You may also use compress gas cans if your use will be sporadic.
