You guys are most definitely right. I had a good feeling that the Pacific would easily handle my layout when I bought it. I couldn't have been more right. This engine runs like a charm. It was my first BLI engine. I may buy from BLI from now on since these engines are such great quality. I was completely blown away by the pulling power of the Pacific, too.

Mine performed well on 18" radius.  No complaints from the loco that I could see.

Have fun,

Richard

Now you are talking a locomotive that will fit around your 22" radius curves.

Bought one a little while back.  It chuffed around in DC until Thursday, when I finally bit the bullet and picked up a DCC system.  Love the low speed performance as it is only on a 4'x6' at the moment. whistle and bell add so much.  I have a lot of learning to do with the DCC system, so that I can find out all that the loco can do.

Now to use my new toys as incentive to get moving and build my next layout, around an 8'x14' room.

Thanks for sharing.

Have fun,

Richard

So most everyone should know about the new BLI 4-6-2 Pacific engines that have just recently been released. Well, I was able to get my hands on one a few weeks ago and I just now have had the time to get the video uploaded to Youtube. Here is a link to the video if anyone is interested :)
