SANDCOUNTY,
First off,I would recommend, some form of cradle,to hold the engine on it's back, after removing, the exhaust stacks, because it will probably come off anyway, under that is where the,mini-pot is that controls the volume,of the sound.. ON the trucks, look at the cover,on each side you will see plastic clips, that hold the side frame to the cover, take a small flat head screw driver and pry a little bit sideways, until the clip is free, then, take the screw driver and you will see a plastic pin,in the center of the side frame that has to be pried out, once that is out the other clip will come out on it's own... BOTH side frames will have to come off before, you can remove the bottom cover... Sounds like a lot,but it is pretty easy to do... Then just reverse, when installing,, be careful of the pickup wires that are soldered to the pick-bar,very delicate...
I have the Indiana Harbor Belt one and really like it,,,Just wish it was HEAVIER,,,I'VE yet to find a place in there to add weight..
If you have any problems, like me know..
Cheers,
Frank
I would like to check the trucks of a Broadway Limited Imports SW 7 Paragon 2. How does one gain access to the gears without removing the trucks. It appears that there is a lower cover on the truck that snaps in. Can I remove this to access the gears? Also, do the side frames just snap on to and off the trucks?
This a new unit and I want to clean out the excess lub and inspect electrical contact points. I have not found any internet video or discussion on these topics.
