Something to keep in mind here...Unless you have a monitor that you can calibrate for proper color rendition the colors you view will not be exactly what the real paint will be.

Is there any particular reason why you'd limit yourself to using only Scalecoat II?  And no matter what brand of paint you use, limiting yourself to only those colours offered by the manufacturer is very....well, limiting. Smile, Wink & Grin

While I've used regular Scalecoat, I've never had need to use Scalecoat II - the original version works fine on plastics if you apply it with an airbrush.

i asked on here earlier this week for help with online version of scalecoat II pain chip chart. I thought a better way of asking for help would be asking any of you fellow model railroaders out there what are your favorite scalecoat II colors and to see photos of locomotives, cabooses, passenger cars and freight cars painted with scalecoat II paints. For my HO scale leelanau county railway enginers and cabooses will be CB&Q chinese red with white lettering and passenger cars B&M blue with black lettering. I figure seeing photos of scalecoat II painted model railroad items on here would give me better idea of what paints to use myself
