I was one that wanted to see a track plan of this great layout as well. I also wish to convey my thanks to Byron and let him know that I also enjoy his track plan articles and posts a great deal.

Thanks to both of you

Personally, I think the easiest way is to click on the "Direct Link" image link at the right on the Photobucket page -- that copies the direct link to your clipboard.

Then on this forum, click the Insert Image button:

... paste the direct link you obtained from Photobucket in step 1 into the screen that follows:

... click "Insert" and your picture appears, like this:

... and this:

Bob Helm's Virginia Southwestern Layout HO scale Trackplans

Here are the track plans for my HO scale double and triple decked layout. The layout is 2/3 sceniced with no helixes, it climbs from 30 inches up to 64 inches at the top of the mountain grade and drops back down to 52 inches at Weller yard. The maximun grade is 1.96 % from Weller to Raitt tunnel and 1.5% from East end Luke up to Hurley then again 1.5% from Knox up to Virginia Lee at the top of the grade. It has FULL CTC and was formerly a Clinchfield North End layout that is being transformed into a proto-freelance version of the N&W Buchanan Branch in Buchanan County VA and Pike County Kentucky in coal country. Most all structures are scratchbuilt to prototype plans or photos. The mainline is over 400 feet in lenght staging to staging.
