I am looking for a map of the Cote st-luc railyard in Montreal, QC
If anyone knows of a web site, or has an actual map of it. pls let me know

National Archives in Ottawa http://www.collectionscanada.ca/index-e.html
Local Archives in Montreal
RR Museum outside of Montreal (sorry I can't think of the name at this time)

You may also want to try some of the LHS's in eastern Canada as there are a number of publications that cover regional and local rail interests.

You may want to try contacting Ian Wilson at www.CanadianBranchLine.com

He has written four excellent books on CN operations in Ontario (with a fifth one soon to be relaesed) and each book contains the track plan for all the towns the rails ran through. So he would know the source for plans and blueprints.

BTW this guy is a serious MR'r and has several pictures of his layout, which was alos featured in MR, on his web page

I have found them on mapquest before...if you make the map to view smaller areas, the yards show up in a lot of them

I have a plan of Montreal's Taschereau Yard, but nothing of Cote St. Luc. 10-12 years ago myself and three friends visited Montreal (took the train!) and had obtained permission ahead of time to visit the area yards. Even had a guided tour in one of them - the good old days I guess. We were given a spriral bound book with facts on Taschereau yard that had a fold out plan of the track -some huge! I scanned it in two pieces several years ago in reply to another request.

If you haven't seen it yet on the "Yard shapes...we're debating" thread over in the Prototype information forum, cnwfam11's 28 Aug 16:45 posting says "A very good book to look at is "North American Railyards" by Michael Rhodes.This book has just every railroad yard used by all the railroads today.
