My dad recently got out his old Atlas HO trainset from the 60s. It's quite a nice set, it has 4 nice looking B and O passenger cars and a B and O EMD FT. The FT won't run. The lights light up, and I can hear a hum coming from the motor. I took the shell off and everything looks fine. I tried nudging it with my SD7 but that didn't make it move either. The motor is unlike anything I've ever seen, it's all in a little box on the end of the frame, doesn't look like a can motor to me. Any tips[?]
