CZ, my early one rolled OK, but I also bought MTH cars with no regrets. I changed the signboards to "Southern Pacific Lines" for consistency with my GS-4, the car skirts, and the tail-light. Undecided what to do with this new BLI since it 's the wrong period. The only thing it needs is a correct scale antenna.
Saw the BLI 1953 chair car pair the other day and it looked great. And I have a nice Precision Scale PA/B/A set. Hmmmm.

I call your attention to the fact that this is the "Limited Edition" 1953 car with DCC-controlled lighting, The dcc decoder is set to 3 (as usual), but you can set a new short or long address. I purchased two of the BLI GS4's when they came out and never got the coupon for the free one in either box. So much for that free deal. After buying the observation car they had at the time, I would skip this one anyway, since it rolled like the brakes are set.
My set now includes the MTH set and the extra articulated coach sets and single coach cars to make up an eighteen car train. It is really a nice set of passenger cars.
