SuperBee;
I hope you enjoy the Caboose, it is a unique one!!!
I pre-ordered as well, & will enjoy them too!
I don't model B&O, but they are unique enough to 'need' IMHO.

I think you will like the Fox Valley Models Box Cars, I have a couple & a kit, - I like them!

Please revive this post when you get them, & show some pix & comments, it will be fun!

Used this address, worked perfect. Fast response on shippiing costs. Sent my check out this morning, did not  want to miss this model. My Yahoo mail doesn t want to work with Outlook express for whatever reason so it would not link on the email us connection. Many thanks

Chad,

I wish I could post a picture of the B&O Wagon Top Caboose by Spring Mills Depot but they haven't sent it. I reserved it by paying in full with PayPal but they e-mailed me on Monday asking for additional money. They goofed and only credited me with a partial payment so I forwarded them a copy of the PayPal invoice showing the full payment. Haven't heard a word.

To make matters worse they are not responding to my e-mails.

Have you received yours??

Bob

Bob,

I had been Off the Grid this week & had a request to complete my order, I had also paid a deposit, but my balance due was the remainer with shipping.
So, I may not see them until next week myself, then the Nikon will see them...

Hope they take care of your order, I have a feeling they will.

Thanks,

TO ALL,

Just received an e-mail from Spring Mills advising me that the request for additional money was for an earlier deposit made in August for a  wagon top caboose. I have no memory of this but won't argue about a $30.00 credit. Instead of asking for a refund I'll honor my commitment and have two of the cabooses. They have atleast 4 versions so it won't be a duplicate.

From pictures other members have posted on the forum they are really good looking.

IF THEY HAD ONLY RESPONDED TO MY INQUIRY IN A TIMELY MANNER THIS MATTER COULD HAVE BEEN SETTLED WITHOUT GOING PUBLIC.

All's well that ends well, as the saying goes.

Bob

Just got another e-mail combining the shipping costs for the two wagon tops.

Spring Mills is a relatively small operation operated by dedicated modlers like ourselves and have been swamped getting out their new arrivals.

I was just too impatient.

Well, here's the B&O Wagon Top Caboose.

She's everything she's cracked up to be

You think you have the track straight until you take a picture

Forgetting I oredered one in August I ordered a blue one in November and it should be coming shortly.
