Your welcome.

I have two of them and one has never been out of the box yet. Great running loco, beautiful sound too.

nabbed it!  thanks!  you know that stupid ebay notify doesn't really work.  Probably runs on a cron job once a night.  So I would have known about it in the morning.  But that was a great price and it's possible it wouldn't have been there anymore.

Thanks man!

The Atlas HH600/660s are terrific little switchers, Chad. YesYes  I have one with sound and another undecorated that I eventually want to paint/detail as a late 30s NYC HH600.  Been very happy with mine.

I ended up grabbing 2x of these:  http://www.atlasrr.com/Images/HOLocomotives/hh600/0909/10000784_TQ.jpg

And I'm going to renumber one of them to 1603.

Same erra. mid-late 40's.

I have one of them already.  great sounding loco.

As a side note, atlas grab iron install sucks. lol

I'm still going to keep my eye out for an h10-44 though.

Chuck,

You could always purchase a DC version of it and install sound into it yourself.  Or...you can purchase the DC version AND an undecorated H10-44 unit w/sound then swap shells.

Granted, the latter is a bit more expensive but...you get a sound unit and an extra shell that you can paint and detail.

The description says "DC only," unfortunately.  Judging by the box and foam insert, it is one of the earlier (pre Proto 2000 units) made in the 90s.

Google the part number, 920-40784.  Sommerfelds in Wisconsin lists one in stock.

Trainworld in New York has a couple of them without sound.

I like mine, and I'm not parting with it.

I can not seem to find one of these.

If anyone happens to know of one up for grabs somewhere, please let me know.

Thanks!
