East of Youngstown, OH and NE of Pittsburgh, PA, there's a nice LHS in Cranberry, PA alled Hobby Express. They have a good selection of locomotives and MRRing items.
And, if you're in the area around lunch time and like pierogies, be sure to stop off at Forgotten Tastes. It's on the west side of US 19, near the corner of Brandt Drive.
Lastly, depending when you will be visiting eastern OH/western PA, the Western Pennsylvania Model Railroad Museum is definitely worth a visit. Their 2012/2013 holiday display hours start Saturday, November 10th and go through Sunday, January 13th.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
A family wedding is going to take us to Pittsburgh next month and we will be staying in the Youngstown area the night before. After the wedding, we are headed east to Altoona and HSC for a day or so.
Are there any good HO scale train shops in the immediate Youngstown & Altoona areas? We won't really have much time to venture too far from the beaten path so we would like to stay close to the path we need to travel.
Thanks.
