The trailer that is used to carry the Ho layout had two tires blow out on the drivers side right on Banshee Rd. next to the NS (old Wabash) tracks & while they were waiting to get new tires the Nickel Plate train went by them! My best deal was 5 CB&Q reefers with kds, metal wheels for $15. One dealer had Blue box (some in the yellow boxes) kits $3 each 2 for $5. I got a Walthers White Castle kit for $5. I did not do much shopping as I left at 12:15 to go home to finish a chair that I repaired. Did visit with Gary Hoover (MR contributer & member of our Club) for a while. He had some buildings from his old Sante Fe layout for sale. Next swap meet is March 9th 2013.
We went, and were suprised that it was not busier. The club layout was not on display either.
This is what we caught on the way home!
