[#ditto]

Thanks for the post.
I too have been trying to figure that out. I believe that I have the right boxes checked for signature, but it doesn't show up. Can't find any answer with the HELP menu. I also see other custom things such as only parts of a quote being used. Dunno that either! [D)]

1. To edit your signature you need to click on the link at the top of this page that says "Edit Profile", enter your password and go from there.

2. If you want to quote a message click the "Quote" Link to the immediate upper right corner of it. Once the reply box opens you can delete things between the quote tags, but leave the tags alone so the browser knows where the beginning and end of the quote is. Make sure you post your message outside the quote tags.

Gads! I must really be stupid. I still can't get a post with signature.
I have the box checked for adding signature.
I have a signature in the 'signature text only' box. I have a favorite quote in its box.
Still get nothing.
???

REX It's totally counter-intuitive, but you have to check BOTH the Text only and the Text and Images boxes. Don't ask me why, but I asked the admin people, and they fixed it and told me what they had done.
Now, all I need is a logo for my road........[8]

I used the Villagephotos and can't get the photo to work. What format did you use for the signature picture and which site did you use to post it to obtain URL?

[:(!] Well, let me see if the signature is here.

I typed the signature in both boxes, but the only check box about signature in the update profile is to " include signature with every post". Down the page are boxes to type the two kinds of signatures in and a preview button. That's it.

Who can I contact if this thing doesn't work with this post???

I use a GIF file JPG will work too, as for where I put it, well I run and maintain several web sites so I just used one of them, but you probably already have 5 MB of free space from your ISP. Check with them first, if not, then I'd look into the free web space places. Unfortunatly I don't know of any offf the top of my head but I'm sure someone will post those soon...
