Woodland scenics sells this product called "forest canopy" in a box set that includes some adhesive, some coarse turf, and some things that look like dried flowers. Supposedly you apply the adhesive to the dried flower things, dip in coarse turf and...instat tree! Problem is, the box costs over $20, which seems a bit much for dried flowers, if that's indeed what they are. Even if you subtract $4 for the turf and $8 for the adhesive, you're still paying $8 for somehting that looks like it could be had for free from a quick trip through the backyard and some time with a food dehydrator (which I have).
Is anyone familiar with this "forest canopy" product? Does anyone know if there's an easy, cheap alternative to the stuff?
