Anybody else have any input?

With their reasonable cost, I'm strongly considering Pilz! Especially stacked against the cost of the new Peco code 83 turnouts. I walked into a hobby shop and was stunned at their asking price. [:O]

The other quality code 83 track, Walthers/Shinohara, is always out of stock. No one else seems to have a large selection of all types of turnouts; curves, wyes, etc. So, I guess I'll give them a whirl. I'll let you know what I find out sometime next year! [^]

Thanks, Wes454!

I'm thinking strongly about using these in my layout expansion. Some of my current derailments and electrical contact problems have been where the end of the points connect to the frog, not where the point meets the main rail. I'm using Walthers/Shinohara code 83 turnouts.

I like the smooth flow and I'm curious about their ability to fit in where needed.

Dragenrider,
I was looking through back issues the other night and ran across that review in MR as well. I really like that the closure rails are one piece on thier products!

I don't know much, but maybe it'll make you fell better that someone else liked these as well! [;)]

I'm seeking feedback on the new Tillig Pilz turnouts. They seem to be smoother in design than other turnouts and are bendable to fit where you need them. (See Feb 2003 MR product review) I also like their prices. www.reynaulds.com

Do you or someone you know have these new gizmos? If so, your thoughts, feedback, and experiences would be helpful.

Even if you don't know, your thoughts are still welcome! [:D]
