Atlas Forum -- which August?
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 8:17 AM
According to the Atlas website, their new forum was supposed to have been launched this month. This being Aug. 31, and it being 9:18 a.m. EST, there are less than 15 hours for Atlas to make its deadline.

Unless, of course, they meant August 2005 -- or later.[;)]

I e-mailed Atlas yesterday, August 30, 2004, with a similar question and received the following reply:

"Hopefully the Forum will be up and running by the end of this week."

Let's see if that happens.

Hope it doesn't take as long as the full line of Code 55 track.

You know, I just don't seem to miss it. Found others since they shut it down and just don't think I'll have time to bother with it again.

Maybe ATLAS has finally reached the age where it is difficult to 'get it up'.

HA! Maybe Atlas needs Viagra!

(they don't seem to have any problem getting the prices up, though.)

No it's not, been getting "page not found" for the last 2 hours, even tried directly from their main page and still no forum page. [:(]

Atlas Forum is up and running. Now lets have some real help and new ideas about modelling our train fantasies. Enough POLLS already!

Apparently this August, as it's back and running as of this evening. Your post counter returns to zero though. Well, that's OK.

Yippi! i finally got in and it's great. had to re-register, so i replaced the ailing name and took a new, more appropriate name. And so far there's some familiar names there already, hope it picks up soon.

Larry, Chuck said he had to re-register, did you have to? BTW, I still can't get to it. I keep getting the "page not found" message. Tried to go thru the Atlas page, and direct link. No joy.
