Microscale SP Wings
Posted by ericsp on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 12:47 AM
A few years ago I found that using Floquil's Caboose Red when having Glaze or Hi-Gloss applied over it made a close match to Microscale's SP Wings. However, now Microscale has lighten them and the above paint combination is nowhere near the shade of the decals. Does anyone know what makes a good combination? Has anyone tried SP Scarlet with Glaze?

i have been using Polly Scale SP scarlet on all my models lately and it is a pretty close match to the microscale wings. there is a slight difference but if you add a tiny bit of weathering you cant notice the difference. i'll try to snap a couple of close up pictures if i ever get back home.
