Modesto, Ca, June 6.  The Golden State railroad has announced that it will be spending an additional 15 million dollars this year to expand the railroads capacity by double tracking its maim line from Stockton Junction to Mococco.  This will involve the realignment of the old mainline which is ten feet one inch  (1613.33 N scale feet) to allow for the placement of ten feet nine inches (1720 N scale feet) of the second track and includes the  installation of three high speed (number ten) switches.  This project including all electical work is expected to be completed by end of the second quarter of 2012.
