Irony
Posted by bcammack on Saturday, August 21, 2004 8:55 AM
After all the admonitions from the folks at Model Railroader about "beware of Model Railroader subsciption scams", the "Ads by Google" column to the right of each screen often has ads for "Get Model Railroader for $21 per year at Mags4Cheap.com!" and such. Doesn't that strike anyone else as ironic and rather amusing? [:)]

That is funny. It sort of shows how stupid computers can be. I hate it when I do a search, and I get back a result that says "find books about WHATEVERITIS at amazon.com". Actually the computers are not stupid, the people who write the progrems that do that mimic nonsense are.

I did recieve a couple of those scam offers in the mail, and called customer service at Kalmbach. They like to hear about those things, so they can try to put a stop to them.
