How many of you model the Rock? I am currently doing some custom Bankruptcy Blue GP38-2 and a SW1500. I will post the photos when they are done. I really like the blue scheme.

My layout interchanges with the Rock Island in Peoria, so I've got one 2-8-0 and a caboose, as well as lots of CRI&P freight cars.

Gee Ray, in the old-old ( my younger) days I use to take that Poeria Rocket Peru/Chgo but I still favor the Q.

Really? Was that back pre-1960? If so, do you remember what color the trim was on the old P&PU Union Station? (it's on my scratchbuilding to-do list, but I haven't been able to find any color photos of the *%*$# thing...)

And I prefer the Q too. Their butt-ugly steamers just sorta grow on you!

Oh come on now, the O-5s, M-4As, and S-4s were as good looking as they come!![:D]

OK, so their 4-4-2 Atlantics gave a lot to be desired....[}:)][:p][;)]

Anyways, I HAVE been thinking of adding the Rock....

Hi Todd. I model the Rock. I have a couple of the blue deisels. A GP38-2 a SW1500. I also have several other locos in blue but they are rather different.[:D] Here's my album for you to see what I mean.

I don't model The Rock but a lot of Rock cars made there way east on Chessie; therefore, I have quite a few pieces of Rock equipment.

Modular railroading at its best!
If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!
