Peco Code 83

When will Peco code 83 track be available? I'm holding up building my new layout waiting for code 83 turnouts. Thanks.

We have samples of the new Peco code 83 switches, and so far they look good. Jim hasn't finished the review yet, but his first set of measurements was encouraging, as were his first tests with rolling stock.

They must be coming soon -- I was at my LHS yesterday and they already have empty pegs on the track wall with signs for some Peco Code 83 stuff. I suspect they wouldn't do that if they didn't expect the pegs to be filled relatively quickly. [:D]

Is the new Code 83 line going to have all the same pieces as the code 100 set? Or is Peco only putting out a few of the most common turnouts?

From what I understand only a few items will be made in code 83 in the begining, and the rest of the line will be added over a period of time. I'm building a new layout which I've held up laying any t rack only to find out flex track will not be one of the frist items. i guess my track will be Atlas code 83.
