That's how we -- Andy Sperandeo and I -- designed the signal system (well, Andy did most of the designing at the more complex areas; he's a whiz at it!). Anyway, the placement of the signals is based on general practices, not a specific railroad.

As far as the signals go, the arrangement shown in the diagram would be realistic for either railroad. That stuff is pretty standard. That's a neat little plan, and looks like a lot of fun with two continuous loops, some neat switching and a little hidden staging. Enjoy.[8D]

Hi from England, I have the track plan and signal diagram from the Wildcat Central. The signalling diagram is roughly based on the Union Pacific but I'm modelling present BNSF in So. Cal and i'm wondering if the diagram is close enough for my needs.
I know that it's small but it's a good layout for the space i have available and any help would be greatful.[:)]
