can someone explain the purpose of feeder wire and how do I go about installing them? I am currently running DCC Command 2000 and I get some hesitation on some parts of the track. Will feeder wires help solve this problem. Thanks

Good wiring for DCC use is the same for DC use. You don't rely on the rail joiners to conduct your electrical signal. Only count on them to keep your rail ends aligned to prevent derailments. The term "feeder wire" is a wire which connects your rail to the wire running under your layout which carries the power and DCC signal. You should check out the ultimate DCC wiring site. www.wiringfordcc.com for more info.
