HO and N Scale.
After long and careful thought, they have convinced me. I have come to the conclusion that they are right. The aliens did it.
Guys,
I have ventured into the land of n-scale after a 10 yr break from HO. I am familier with the quality of many manufacturers products in HO, but not in N. My problem is this: I have been a fan and modeler of the N&W for years. My fav loco is the 4-8-4J. As a surprise, my wife bought me one of the yellow box "limited edition" J's from Bachman. She was really thrilled to find this for me, but upon placing it on the track, it wouldn't run. After inspecting it, there appears to be 2 wires running from the back bogie trucks. Both these wires are broke. Are they so fragile that they break right out of the box? If so, what is the fix? Was this a noted problem? I would really like to fix this and restore her happiness so any help would be great.
