Here's what you do to permanently eliminate the glow from your cars: You spray paint black over it, then spray primer and then pray any color that you want.The black will shield the glow. Priming will shield the black and will make your paint look smooth and prominent.Priming before spraying black will make the layers of paint and primer too thick.
I panted mine a dark green since that was closest to a then recent repaint of the car interior.
I chose my color because on this particular batch of cars light was shining through the plastic making the cars glow in the dark.
I suppose a nice opaque white would have worked, but I went with the green.
Will the interior of your cars be seen? Pretty hard to see inside of my cars. I light them and leave them.
