thank you.  Hopefully he returns when this all calms down.  These lights are very good and make a big difference on a layout.

These are WeHonest street lights about 10 years ago just after installing them.  I made Mel connectors for them so I can remove them easily, old Clumsy Mel would ding them working on scenery.

The time invested was well worth it, ten years later and I haven't screwed up a singel streetlight.

SWChief,

Have purchased numerous, including lights, items from We Honest over the past few years, have been more than satisfied with what I have recieved. Understand it is not museum quality, but doable.

I’ve been buying from them for years and they always shut down three weeks for the Chinese New Year and like Mark said they may be down for health reasons.

I've bought from them too and their name still brings a smile to my face.  I could be wrong, but I was looking for signals before the Coronavirus got rolling over there and their railroad stuff in their store was practically none.

Hopefully they will be back and aren't one of the several million cellphone numbers that have disappeared in China this year.

Several times their site has been down and or very items after the Chinese New Year but over time it is back to normal.  At one time they were my source for 1mm 1½ volt micro bulbs but now I can’t find them anywhere so I guess I have no alternative but to use LEDs.

Been working on this Kenworth for three days, it would have been done in one afternoon if I had some 1mm bulbs.

The ebay store still exists ....

https://www.ebay.com/usr/wehonest_cn?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2754

They have no items for sale currently as they are one of the China sellers who sent me the following message ....

"Sorry but I can't ship goods at present because of the virus in China now, I am afraid this status won’t end until November, thank you for your understanding, sincerely, David"

For starters, this thread is 9 years old, so that "might" have something to do with it. Secondly, the majority of the China sellers I deal with on a regular basis through ebay have shuttered their stores due to the covid-19 outbreak .... at least that was the response I got when I questioned the lack of product in their ebay store.

I have several of these lights on my layout.  I love them.  They look fantastic. Never had a problem with this seller.  In fact, i tried to buy more, but he has disappeared from ebay.  Any ideas how to locate him, please let me know.

Both times that I ordered from them the package was mailed from China.

How long did it take for the package to arrive at your destination?

Mine came from China.

Tracked it from China into the port of San Francisco and then down to me in Anaheim.

In other words, they're actually shipping from within the US (for US orders), probably California, not China. Check the postage on the package, is it US or Chinese?

As I was browsing some of these vendors, I noticed they have e-stores in different countries/continents, which leads me to believe that they have stock on hand in these different places and customs and duty have already been paid and also accounts for the reasonable cost and duration of shipping. In other words, they're actually shipping from within the US (for US orders), probably California, not China. Check the postage on the package, is it US or Chinese?

I would hope that besides deleting these posts the op/sender gets banned for a while.

Just for my benefit, what did the OP do wrong?  I wouldn't want to unknowingly  repeat his mistake.

My typo error, I meant the posters of those threads that were deleted and not the OP of the this thread.

I have a few Chinese e-bay vendors saved as favorite vendors. 100 trees, or 100 figures, or 10 light poles for $10. May not be detailed enough for closeup shots at the front of the layout, but my layout (N-scale) follows the 3-foot rule. It's better than paying 10 times as much for a vendor that gets them from China anyway. Fast shipping, no tax or customs charges.

BIG JERR

Just curious :has any ordered LIGHTS from here ?...Jerry

Yes after reading some good things here, I went ahead and ordered 50 HO scale streetlights and 15 park benches.

These are the lights I got:

Street Lights

And these are the benches I got:

Park Benches

Prompt shipping and ultra affordable.

The lights and benches are pretty nice for the price.  I'm in the process of painting the lights.

Here's a picture of some lights getting painted and a few of the benches with a Preiser figure to compare scale:

Oh and they come with resistors depending on what voltage you plan to run them on.  Just let them know what voltage (12 volts in my case) and they'll add the proper resistors free.

So all in all I'm very happy with them.

I've installed 20 of the dual LED streetlights from wehonest, and a friend asked me to order 20 more for him.  Shipment in both cases was very promt via U.S. Postal Service and there were no customs duties to pay.
