There's never time to do it right, but always time to do it over.....
My layout has no track and no scenery. I'd say I've been procrastinating at least a little...

Always the time and money trade off. If one is working there is no time. If one isn't working there is not money.
I only have one project hanging fire - the whole (fillintheblank) model railroad!
For quite a while I had some physical problems putting a severe hitch in my giddyup. Then I got involved in writing a novel. Now, every time I think about going out to the layout room my overactive subconscious either delivers a way out of the predicament I've gotten Sally into, or some new mischief to entangle her in. The latest involves getting her son knighted (in 3622!)
I think I see light at the end of that particular tunnel. Of course, it may be an exploding star...

Lots and lots. I've taken to keeping a box by my layout of cars and engines that need repair. Phase 1 of my layout was "finished" about 3 years ago - except for the fascia which I plan to add some day. I've got a shelf of unbuilt freight car kits in my basement, but I can't get to them because there are too many unbuilt structure kits on top of them. True, I haven't bought another structure kit for the pile for what, 3 weeks now, but there's a sale coming up...
It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.
I used to work that that large I/T company with the stripped logo and one year, our division had an internal marketing campaign where management would give you a coaster with a saying on it to get you to finish a delayed project. The coaster was round and that the word TOIT on it. The pun was now that you had gotten around to it, you "SHOULD" really finish the project or sale.
No, it didn't help all that much. One still has to set priorities and work to them.
Jim - Preserving the history of the NKP Cloverleaf first subdivision.
I got the roadbed and track glued down last spring. Been procrastinating on ballasting and starting scenery, although I did glue some foam together for two hills which will form 2 sides of a cut about a month and a half ago!

I think we ALL do at one time or another. I still have another box of Walthers high voltage towers to assemble; couplers to replace (some of them came with, well, other than Kadee couplers). Now, before any piece of stock hits the layout, it gets Kadees installed, and the coupler height check. Now, that you've made me feel bad, I guess I should get to it. Thanks for the motivation.

The other day I finally got around to replacing the couplers on the last of my rapid-equiped cars. It's a project I've been dragging my feet on for some time. How many of us have projects that we're procrastinating due to lack of funds, time, motivation or litany of other reasons?
