Horizon Hobbies Website.
Posted by DSchmitt on Saturday, July 31, 2004 11:55 PM
There has been a lot of discussion of Horizon Hobbies lately, but I haven't seen a link to their website. (I may have missed it) Anyway here it is:

http://www.horizonhobby.com/

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

Thanks for posting Horizons web site..Now at least I can check their web page to see if a item is in stock before I order it from the local hobby shop.

I can't believe they want 99 bucks for a N scale SD70. If it is anything like their N scale F59PHI, then the MSRP should be what 4nscale.com is selling it for, $69.95. I am a strong believer that if you a going to charge premium for a product, it better be a premium product. Athearn does decent stuff in HO, but last I looked, they werent going for as much as this locomotive. Now, the 99 dollar price was off of Horizon's website, so I dont know if that has anything to do with it, but still, what a rip. Just my thoughts.
