I have been purchasing Atlas r-t-r rolling stock because of its reliability, I do not need to add weight to them, and all the cars I purchased run great. Is there any other brand comparable to Atlas I could also purchase since Atlas has a limited selection of rolling stock?

Athearn Genesis, Kadee, Proto2000, Proto1000and Intermountain, are all excellent. The Kadee's even exceed the Atlas in detail.
If you don't mind a little work, Branchline Blueprint cars are also excellent and not too much work.

Watch out for those pesky flex trucks on intermountain and LBF. Great cars but dopey choice of trucks.
