Interesting!! I didn't know those were available. It does look like there aren't as many colors as in some other paint lines however, but looks like it's certainly worth checking out....
BTW I assume "New York City green" is close to "New York Central green".
wjstix I don't think there are many "railroad" specific colors available in enamel. Most model railroad colors are either acrylic / water based like Badger, or thinner based like Scalecoat.

Floquil seems to have a pretty large offering of railroad specific enamels: http://www.testors.com/category/133505?n=0
Thanks for your input. Next, why not use Acrylic ???? Maybe this may be the time to jump into enamel paint !!!!

Hello, Mike F
I do not normally use acrylic on locomotives, but colors should be the same.
Flat black and medium gray such as in gray primer. Gray should be neither too light nor too dark.
Microscale decals worked well for me.

My newest project is painting a GP OF THE 50'S ERA.
Can anyone help with the colors of gray and black, that I should be using. I'd prefer an Acyrlic over the Enamel.
Thanks,
