Smokey Valley Handrails
Posted by Todd McWilliam on Thursday, July 22, 2004 1:52 AM
I purchased some Smokey valley handrails to try and dress some athearn bluebox locomotives. I give up the directions are terrible and I can't figure them out. Does anybody have any good ideas on how to apply the handrails?

Yeah, Smokey Valley handrails can be a huge PITA. I have installed them on 8 locos over the years. I followed the directions and everything came out looking OK. The biggest thing is to clean the flash off each piece - very time consuming.

What part of the instructions are you having a hard time with?

Modular railroading at its best!
If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!
