TA462 Chuck, it's just Canadian humour. You need to understand what these guys represent to be able to laugh at them. Most American's don't get it. My favorite episode is when they kidnap Rita McNeil and force her to harvest their crops, LOL. Classic entertainment. If huge Canadian stars like Rita, Alex and Sebastian Bach think enough of the show to be on it it just goes to show that "they get it". My favorite quote on the show is when Bubbles finds out he didn't get Rush tickets.

LOL, Rita...that was another classic episode! Yeah, Bub's is a real life, huge Rush fan...just like me!
"...and the men who hold high places, must be the ones to start..."
LOL, "Ricky" has a masters degree and a sense of humor, in real life.
Like someone else mentioned, "It's not for everyone". Thanks for confirming that!
Actually, Model Railroaders had a bad name long before TPB. :o)
The Trailer Park Boys are some sick puppies. I quit watching them because it doesn't do anything for me. I would rather see shows with people in them portraying a hint of intellegence and Ricky is about as stupid as they come. I guess that's the point, but with the train episodes: All it can do is give model railroaders a bad name. I guess i'm just getting too old for shows containing filthy mouthed individuals with their day to day criminal antics.....chuck
TA462 Trailer Park Boys are great. I wish they would do another season soon. They aren't for everybody though, lolol.

No kidding! Classic entertainment, IF you can take it with a grain of salt.
Favorite episodes include;
Kidnapping Alex Lifeson of Rush
The "Conky" Episode where RIcky is dubbed "Revene" and Julian is called Patrick Swayze...too funny.
Patrick Swayze's Train was good for a laugh power problems not withstanding.
I watched it on Netlfix, so I assume uncensored.
Mechanical Department "No no that's fine shove that 20 pound set all around the yard... those shoes aren't hell and a half to change..."
The Missabe Road: Safety First
I saw it a few years ago when the series was on the air here. My first thought was that even with what appeared to be an O scale train, laying that much track outdoors, through the bush, then coming back to it later to run the train, it would never make it to the other end. The track would never hold together outdoors like that and it would take a lot more effort than they boys put into it to get it straight and level enough to run a train. Not to mention where did they get the electricity for the power pack? I don't recall if they had a long extension cord or not. Oh well, reality goes by the board in TV series as well as movies.
I'm curious as to whether you get the censored version or the uncensored version. When it was originally broadcast, it was uncensored but the reruns were censored. I enjoyed the series on TV as well as the two movies that came out afterwards. I believe it was made in Nova Scotia if I'm not mistaken.
..... Bob
Beam me up, Scotty, there's no intelligent life down here. (Captain Kirk)
I reject your reality and substitute my own. (Adam Savage)
Resistance is not futile--it is voltage divided by current.
Now I realize all the Canadians will have seen it, but for Americans it may be a little unclear. Long story short these guys dedicated their last season to stealing Patrick Swayze's train set and running drugs with it. One of the characters is obsessed with model trains and blah blah blah.
Google TPB for info about the show.
My question was: Has anyone seen these episodes, and if so, what are your thoughts? I personally loved them, and was curious if people on here knew about it.
