New Freelanced Model Railroad

I am now creating a freelanced model railroad called the TEANMR(The Elkton And Newark Model Railroad.) Coud I get some tips and hints?

What kind of tips and hints are you looking for? I'm sure the people here could give you 100000's of tips and hints and not have a single one have anything to do with what you're looking for.
Are you looking for "what kind of scenery would belong in Elkton/Newark", are you looking for "how do i custom paint my own loco's"? Be a little more specific and the people here will love to help you out. Including myself (if I can since I'm usually one doing the asking too).
