You must be talking about the Walther's 90 foot plastic turntable kit.

If you noticed, it was such a piece of crap that neither Model Railroader nor Railroad Model Craftsman reviewed it.  This is probably due to it being of such poor quality that the two magazines  couldn't put a positive spin (Excuse the pun) on the 'table like they usually do for dubious models produced by one of their major advertisers.  Better to not review a really crappy product than to trash one of their major advertisers products.

Strange that.  Computer magazine reviews frequently trash their advertiser's products but not MR nor RMC,

However, the Walther's ready to run turntable, or whatever it's called, is the complete opposite and is worth the couple of hundred dollars they want for it.

Cheers

The Walthers 90' turntable is a pain to work with. I have one installed on my layout and I want to replace it soon.

If you can read this... thank a teacher. If you are reading this in english... thank a veteran

When in doubt. grab a hammer.

If it moves and isn't supposed to, get a hammer

If it doesn't move and is supposed to, get a hammer

If it's broken, get a hammer

If it can't be fixed with a hammer... DUCK TAPE!

The 130' TT has never been available as a non-powered kit.  What was available is the old Heljan kit, whic IIRC was a 120' design.

Also, the original Walthers 90' turntable was not motorized, or should I say not indexed.

Anyone know where I can get a Walther's not motorized 130' turntable.  I haven't been paying close atterntion and now it is motorized, indexed and DCC'd to the tune of $349.00.  I recall a few (?) years back is was available for $50-$60 (no motor).  Actually, I have designed myself into a bind without one.

Thanks
