major problem with flex track please help ASAP

i need to take some flex track on a plane ride, does anyone know how i can do this? it's too big for my suite case [:(]

Depending on how much you have, try to find a mailing tube to put it into. It might be advisable to leave one end open so airport security can see what's in it if they want to open it up and peek inside, if you're flying commercial and not on someone's private jet.

A mailing tube would be my choice for easy of packing and to minimize damage. If possible, I'd suggest shipping it to where I was going by UPS, parcel post or whatever rather than carrying it with me on the plane.

If you can't find a mailing tube or box the right size, perhaps just wrapping it with some clear packing tape to hold it together would do. Nothing to hide, security should be no problem, and it will fit in the overhead bin. Just don't forget it on the plane.

How did you end up with flex track on vacation? Was the price that good, or don't you have a hobby store near you? Shipping it home is always a good choice, for future refrence.[swg]
