LGB engines are well made and easily repared all be it somewhat expensive so have at it.
I use Firefox for my browser. You can download and install Google Translate. It will translate web pages into English. I would imagine they have one for Internet Explorer, as well. I have my set to translate web pages automatically.

Hi, Parts. No problem really. It's just that we do get a number of posts here weekly from people who mistakenly do so...we just like to point out what to us is the obvious, and what too often doesn't appear to be obvious to the new posters.
I hope you found the information useful. Maybe you'll get more...?

Thanks for the information. I will look into the repair manual. I am not really a garden railway guy, or I would have posted the question in that forum, but I have seen SO MANY posts in this forum that are not HO or N scale related, that I did not think it would be a problem to ask a question.
Go to the LGB web site and you can download a Service Manual, item number 2028D-1. It's in German but has exploded diagrams of how the locomotive is assembled.

I saw an offer on the G-scale area of E-Bay of a complete LGB Service Manual on a CD, but I don't know if it would be in German or English.

Also, for your future reference, this message should have been posted in the Garden Railways Magazine forum instead of here -- this forum is primarily for HO and N scale modelers.
Hello Guys, Hope everyone is having a great new year. I have a question, and was wondering if anyone has ever messed with a LGB Mogul. I have recently acquired a rather well-worn #2018 Mogul, and I believe the idle gears, or the drivers are bad. Any help on how this locomotive comes apart, and how easy the parts are to change would be greatly appreciated.
