You could try to post a list of what you have here. You have to become a member but it's free. Scroll down and find the section "Online Model RR Shopping".

MR has already issued an edict that has made this particular activity VERBOTTEN on the forum.

I didn't say I was gonna list them on here, I just asked where I COULD list them. Geesh, touchy people. BTW, it's spelled VERBOTEN.

Thank you for the help Jeremy.

Have you asked your Local Hobby Store. Some stores will put them on cosignment and sell them in their store, some however will not. I would call up the ones around you and try to get the best price for them.

Even though you don't like e-Bay, you might look at simular items to find the "going price" for them.

I second the cosignment idea - but expect it to take time. I sold a Stewart U25B that way at my LHS, but it took several months. And I had the price lower than the going e-Bay prices for that loco. And be sure to find out the store's "cut" of the profits before you price the item.

Best time for these types of sales are during the Christmas sales period, I've been told (and that was when mine sold).

Good luck !

JimbosDaughter,
Although I haven't used it myself and therefore don't know its merits relative to the other suggestions that have been made, you might want to check the outlet offered by Trains.com:

Thanks guys! Hobby stores in my area won't talk to me because basically I am Jimbo's daughter...my father had a Model Railroad Specialty store before he passed away in 1997 and basically took a lot of business from the other stores cause he was fair to customers. I will check out all the mentioned sites. Thanks so much!

Another throught is you can placed a classfied add in the model railroad magazines. I know many people read them each month looking for leads for that model they just have to have.

Well, apparently she's not too serious about selling the stuff. I e-mailed her for info a few days ago and have heard nothing. I just spent my months budget at a hobby store instead. Kind of reminds me of trying to deal with trainland/trainworld.

Tim...I haven't been on line in a day or so and I haven't yet checked my emails or I would have responded to you. Not serious about selling them? Yea ok, if you say so, considering I just sold them and got WAY more then I was asking and probably more then your budget would allow. *shaking head*

There are dozens and dozens of Yahoo groups you could join to get the word out. Plus there is the news group rec.models.rr

If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!

You could make your own webpage just for them at freewebs.com. Tell us where you decide to post them so I can take a look.
