I have a Highliner (which is what the Athearn Genesis body is) F2 body I put together operating with an older Stewart F-unit powered chassis with no problems. The Highliner shell was originally designed to fit the Athearn F7 drive, but they're all about the same size. Some slight work might be needed to make a perfect fit in some cases.

It was made by Bowser (with modifications by me), and sold as a kit. You can see the work and modifications done on it here: http://cs.trains.com/trccs/forums/t/144350.aspx.Smile

With some slight modification to the mounting (I believe), it should fit fine. I think the Highliner shells used on the Genesis F units were originally developed to fit the Stewart chassis.

Anyone know if the Athearn Genesis body will fit on the Bowser/Stewart chassis? Im thinking of getting some of the sound chassis for an older set of Genesis f3's.

Thanks

SB
