tatansThese figures are one reason I don't use figures on a layout.
You do realize that Presier makes figures nowadays that are far more realistic and proportionality scaled (and have done so since the 1980s...at least that what the clothing styles & hairstyles on the bulk unpainted figures seems from). A bit of a dark wash and a dull-coating, and Presier figures look great.OTOH, when I first saw the above figures, I thought they were Life-Like or Bachmann, which have been a bit sparse on details and off on proportions for decades (And the paint jobs were awful - although I guess hand painting the same small figures day after day for a factory worker would get very boring, as opposed to hand painting figures for yourself.
Clearly not up to the standard Preiser is doing today. Looks like something "homegrown" to me!
Awful, just awful, it seems he is wearing chaps, and trying to lift a 4 lb. pipe to his face, and those massive milk cans that a gorilla couldn't lift, these figures are one reason I don't use figures on a layout. And the blonde bomber is no prize either.
ALL of the above could be true!
I got this piece with a large train collection. Most of the items from that caollection are from the early to mid '60's. Hope this helps!

Jill's build makes me wonder if she was someone formerly known as Jack, Jack leaning up against the fence with his hand on his hip looks like a sissy. Made in San Francisco?
Doesn't seem to have the good Preiser detail & looks like Jill played a lot of soccer.
Hmmm...doesn't ring a bell and I have several old Preiser catalogues. Note that it says "WEST Germany" on the bottom, meaning it was made before reunification. May have only been made for a few years in the seventies and eighties.
Hi ALL!I just found this neat Preiser Diorama thing in HO scale. Just what is it called, or maybe a part number? Is it called Jack and Jill get Milked?THX, Ted
